The best Chinese feng shui coins depend on how you plan to use them: choose BOXOB’s six brass coins for decor or divination, Boao’s red-string coins for a ready-to-display arrangement, and Boao’s 100-piece set for crafts or event favors. The 12-piece LipLopBest set offers engraved brass coins in a larger quantity, while IS4A’s three-coin ornament is suited to buyers who want a compact tied design. Feng shui coins are cultural symbols; their meanings are traditional beliefs, not guaranteed outcomes.

BOXOB Brass I Ching Coins
Best for: Buyers seeking a small brass set for multiple uses. This package includes six coins, each about 1.1 inches across, and the listing describes them for home, office, or car decoration, as well as divination or carrying in a wallet or purse.
The brass construction is described as durable and resistant to breaking or fading. The six-piece quantity gives buyers several coins to arrange or use together, without requiring a large bulk purchase. This combination of material, size, and stated uses makes it a flexible choice for someone who has not settled on one display method.
Limitation: The listing does not describe a red cord or pre-tied arrangement, so buyers wanting a ready-made hanging ornament may prefer another option.
Boao Red-String Fortune Coins
Best for: Buyers who want traditional-style coins already tied with red string. The listing describes five styles associated with the emperors Shunzhi, Kangxi, Qianlong, Yongzheng, and Jiaqing. It identifies the coins as metal alloy with a plated surface and lists uses such as placing them in a wallet or accounting book, or wearing them as jewelry.
Choose this set if the red-string presentation matters more than having plain loose coins. The varied styles can also suit buyers looking for a traditional New Year favor or a small decorative item.
Limitation: The listing describes the material as metal alloy rather than brass. Its quantity wording is not fully clear, so check the current product details if an exact number of individual coins is important.
LipLopBest 12-Piece Brass Set
Best for: Buyers who want a dozen engraved brass coins. Each coin is described as bearing “Shunzhi Tongbao” characters and measuring 0.07 inches thick. The listing also notes an antique finish and raised relief carving, giving this set more detail than a plain coin design.
The 12-piece quantity is useful when a buyer wants several coins for a display, collection, or different placements. The product description characterizes the coins as sturdy and resistant to rust, fading, and deformation.
Limitation: No red string or tied set is specified, so these are a better fit for buyers comfortable arranging loose coins themselves.
IS4A Three-Coin Red-Ribbon Ornament
Best for: Buyers who prefer a compact, pre-tied ornament over a loose collection. This item consists of three gold-colored coins strung together with red ribbon. Its description connects the three coins with the traditional symbolism of heaven, earth, and humankind.
The ready-made format makes it a straightforward option for someone seeking a small decorative arrangement associated with wealth luck in feng shui traditions. It avoids the extra step of sourcing cord and tying individual coins.
Limitation: The listing does not specify the coin material or dimensions, so choose another product if those details are essential to your decision.
Boao 100-Piece Chinese Coins
Best for: Buyers who need many lightweight coins for party favors, teaching props, craft projects, or multiple placements. This version is listed as a 100-piece set with 1.1-inch coins. The designs imitate Qing-dynasty-style coins and include emperor names such as Qianlong, Yongzheng, Jiaqing, Shunzhi, and Kangxi.
The listing describes several possible uses, including wallets, handbags, accounting books, and ornaments tied with red string. A large quantity can be more practical than purchasing several small sets when preparing favors or activities.
Limitation: The coins are described as imitation designs, not as brass. Their listed thickness is 0.8 mm, so buyers looking for thick, substantial coins should compare the specifications carefully.
Buying Guide: How to Choose Chinese Feng Shui Coins
Do you need loose coins or a tied ornament?
Loose coins offer flexibility for arranging a display, carrying a coin, or using a set for divination. A red-string design is more convenient if you want a ready-made hanging or decorative arrangement. Check whether cord is included rather than assuming every feng shui coin set comes pre-tied.
How many coins should you buy?
A small set is suitable for personal use or a modest display. Larger sets can make sense for party favors, teaching materials, crafts, or decorating multiple spaces. Compare the stated quantity and verify unclear package descriptions before ordering.
Does material and size matter?
Brass is specified for the BOXOB and LipLopBest products. Boao’s red-string set is described as metal alloy, while the bulk coins are imitation designs. Dimensions also vary: the featured BOXOB and Boao bulk coins are about 1.1 inches, while some listings may offer smaller options. Use the listed measurements to judge scale and portability.
What do feng shui coins symbolize?
Chinese feng shui coins are commonly associated with good fortune and wealth in cultural traditions. Designs, inscriptions, and red string can carry symbolic meaning for buyers. These objects are decorative or symbolic items; descriptions of luck or success should not be treated as guaranteed results.
